ABOUT:

In 2010 Stephen began producing during his freshman year of college and in 2012 as a member of the Bay Area duo Ghostcat he received the Golden Tripod Award for best soundtrack at the International Campus Movie Festival.

He returned to the Bay Area in 2013 with a B.A. in Music from UC Riverside and spent time exploring a number of other aspects of the music industry including artist management and AV production. 

Several years later in 2015 Acumen Productions began as a platform for releasing projects and collaborations while also offering teaching services and educational outreach in music.  

In 2019 Stephen received his AVID Pro Tools User and Operator certifications expanding the scope of services offered into recording and mix engineering with several new projects releasing in early 2020
